What's Going on in North Carolina

Let's start this off right....

Four Days of Food and Drink in the Outer Banks

March 17-20
Outer Banks
I really cannot begin to explain this extraordinary event on this blog.  I urge you to click the link.  However, in a tiny blurb let me say this - LOADS of food from fine dining to finger licking good.  LOADS of beers and wines that go exquisitely with each meal.  LOADS of courses.  North Carolina cuisine but also cuisine from all over the world!  My mouth is watering! There are themes and options for tickets and did you notice it is on our Outer Banks?!?!?!  Go, see, do!

OysterRoast

March 19th
Mocksville
Come to my part of the world and enjoy some delicious wine and my favorite...oysters!  This event is super economical and your entry fee is only $10!  Enjoy oysters from Full Moon Oyster Bar and the music of a local band.  This event is from 12pm-4pm.

March 19th
Uptown
One of NC's largest St. Patrick's Day parades and festivals! The grand marshall is the Ambassador to the US from Ireland - whoa!  This event has something for everyone with the parade and an all thing Irish festival that is family friendly.  Be sure to make plans to attend.

March 25-26th
Southport
There's no denying this is one of my most favorite NC towns (as is it a favorite for film makers and Nicholas Sparks.)  Enjoy a spring festival on Easter weekend at this beautiful seaside, historical town.  There will be crafts, music, food, azaleas, crafts and plants for sale!  Come out!

Raffaldini Vineyards

March 26th
Ronda
Wine season is back!  Two events listed for this edition already!  Raffaldini, the beautiful Italian themed winery in Northwestern NC is ready to celebrate little Easter with traditional Italian fun and the rolling of the cheese!  This event will highlight the cheese of Heritage Homestead Goat Dairy and winners of the Italian game La Ruzzola will win their choice of cheese from the dairy.  Come out for cheese tastings, wine tastings, and go ahead and get a meal from the culinary team at Raffaldini!

March 26-27
Asheboro
Now is the time to visit the NC Zoo!  Easter is a fun time because there will be treats "hiding" in tne animal habitats which means a better chance for you to see the animals!  From lions to monkeys to giraffes and polar bears the NC Zoo is worth your time.

There you have it!  Events for two weeks for you, the family, or just anyone to enjoy!
