This Weekend in North Carolina
Hello November in North Carolina! What a fun time to visit this state or to take advantage of all the fun and festivities that are kicking off this month in honor of the holiday season!
Let's get started today with a trip to Dobson and Shelton Vineyards! This weekend (Saturday) they will host a Murder Mystery Dinner at the vineyard. The meal will be created by their in-house Chef Paul and can I tell you it looks to die for? {Reserve your spot today!}
Next up we'll go east to Selma and get in the holiday spirit at the {American Music Jubilee Christmas Show} This retro Christmas music celebration features seasonal tunes from days gone by, hymns, and more. This event is set for three weekends this month.
Scoot over to Cary to check out the {ACC Women's Soccer Championship}. It starts on Friday with the championship match being held on Sunday.
If you need furniture then go to Hickory this weekend for the {After Market Sale}. This is a prime time to get great discounts on fabulous furniture.
In case Hickory is too far away you can always head to Greenville to the Down East Holiday Show There will be lots of vendors to help you start marking names off your Christmas shopping list, ideas on how to decorate your home this season, and of course all the smells and sounds of the season.
Maybe we'll run into each other this weekend in Asheville at {The Biltmore House's 41st Annual Christmas at the Biltmore}. Come see America's largest residence all dolled up for the holidays.
Head to Raleigh for the {NC Wine Festival at City Market}. This is expected to be the largest wine festival in the state and also offer you beach music and a lot more NC fun. Proceeds from this event are going to help the Raleigh Jaycees and the Foundation of Hope.
Oh and if you want to just have a party in my honor on Friday - that's my birthday! Woo hoo!
Whooooo hoo for your birthday!! Do it up!! Treat yo self!!! Birthdays are the best.
ReplyDeleteIs it wrong that I'm already planning my vineyard trips for the spring? Not drinking for almost a year is way too long!!!
