Introducing: Chippy!

My husband and I had been discussing it for quite a while.  We wanted a dog for the kids.  We'd had doggies before and now was good timing to add to the family four legs.

We also decided it would be the "big" birthday present for the kids.  My son's birthday is this coming weekend and my daughter's is a week and a half after.  Our little girl had been asking for a dog and she's at the age where she's learning responsibility a little more than before.  Our son is just animal crazy.

So after multiple attempts at locating the perfect doggie (shelters, private breeders, etc) we just so happened to stumble upon a Puggle on Facebook.  She was the age we were looking for and practically made for us.  Housebroken and from a great home, clean and friendly, and adoring of children.

We've had her almost a week and boy have things been great with her around!  She likes the kids and tolerates them so well, is so low maintenance, and is the perfect piece to the puzzle that is our family.

Yay for birthdays, yay for kids and dogs, yay for doggies, yay for Chippy!  

And to be honest I've been trying to train her to the name Ethel....
